How To Save A Succulent with Too Much Water

Overwatering succulents are be a common mistake for beginners, and not ALL succulents can be saved but here are a few tips that may give you the best chance to bringing it back.

1. Remove the succulent and wipe off all the damp soil.  We want to keep it as dry as possible.  

2. Place it in an area that gets indirect sunlight for several days and let it dry out. 

3. Once its completely dry- place the succulent into a pot with proper drainage.

4. Fill it with succulent soil.

 

 

 

How to Save a Succulent that is Dehydrated

Because succulents are natural survivors in hot and dry conditions, rehydrating and saving a succulent from lack of water tend to be easier.  If the flowers/plants look dry and wrinkly, follow these steps :

1. Soak your succulent for a several minutes.

2. Let the exterior moisture dry out.  This could take an hour or two.

3.  Place the succulent into a pot with proper drainage.

4. Fill it with succulent soil.

5. Wait about a week, and water the soil.
